You can place an IRCTC food order from local vendors or through its new E-catering IRCTC app for food delivery in the train while travelling. This E-catering app is downloaded from Google play store or iTunes. In this app first, simply IRCTC login, fill some normal details like train name, customer name, Seat/Boggi number and select item from IRCTC Food Menu, They provide you fresh & Delicious food in your seat in 20-30 Minutes.

Why IRCTC Rising Tea & Coffee Price In Train And How Much?
Earlier Indian Railway Board announced to increase the rates in tea & coffee served on trains and stations. The price of 150 ML cup tea has increased from RS 7 to RS 10 with tea bags and normal tea without teabags in RS 5 continue to be sold.
IRCTC next-generation served tea, Coffee and food over 380+ trains. Many customers send IRCTC complaint to railway board for vendors taking extra money for Tea & Coffee served in trains that’s why Railway board decide to increase the price in Tea and Coffee and new IRCTC share price on social media, notice board and newspaper.
The Indian Railway board also revising the price of meals in Rajdhani, Duronto and Satabdi like superfast/Express trains. Although in Express trains IRCTC catering charges added (Already include) when ticket booked by any passenger with the ticket fare. The new food charges are not applied in Gatimaan Express, Tejas Express and Vande Bharat Express like special trains.
