Bubble Tea is my most favourite drink in the summer. According to the name, there is No bubble in bubble tea. Bubble tea is a tea-based drink invented in Taiwan and Japan. To shake with an ice-cube it creates bubbles at the foamy layer at the top of the drink.

What is Bubble Tea?

Bubble tea made with loose leaf tea with added shaken flavour, Sweeteners and milk with Tapioca Pearls at the bottom of the cup. It is also known as boba milk tea and you need a Fat Straw required to drink it.

It starts with a tea base, Uses loose tea leaves. Bubble tea usually consists of sweetened tea with milk, Brown Sugar and chewy Tapioca pearls at the bottom of the cup, also known as boba. Bubble tea comes in many flavours: Plain tea flavour such as Black or Jasmine tea, Fruit flavours such as strawberry or honeydew, Taro which is root vegetable, Chocolate, Almond, Lavender and Coffee. Some of the versions are thin, Sweetened While others are rich and thin.

What are Chewy Tapioca Pearls?

Tapioca Pearls are often black but also can be transparent or white, made from cassava root. Bubble Tea Calories- Cassava roots contain significant amounts of Calcium and Vitamin C. We boil/cook Tapioca Pearls, to make these pearls soft and chewy. To add brown sugar and honey make it sweetened.

  • 3 Tablespoon loose-leaf
  • 4 cup of hot water
  • 3 cup quick-cooking Tapioca Pearls
  • 2-3 teaspoon sugar 
  • Iced cube, for shaking

Step 1. Boiled Water: Take 3-4 cup of Filter water to boil.

Step 2. Mix Tea And Hot Water In a Teapot: Take 2 Tablespoon of Black Tea in 2 cups of hot water.

Step 3. Cover Teapot and leave it for 5 minutes

Step 4. Filter tea leaf and let the tea cool.

Step 5. Mix Brown Sugar (2-3 Tablespoon) with Hot Water Until sugar mix properly

Step 6. Boil water and add Tapioca Pearls: The Tapioca Pearls are poured on the surface and boiled with hot water for 15 minutes.

Step 7. Filter the Tapioca Pearls from the water.

Step 8. Tapioca Pearls and brown sugar: take the brown simple syrup we made earlier and pour it into the teapot with Tapioca Pearls. Mix it properly.

Step 9. Lightly whip heavy cream and sugar: To make the creamy drink use a handle milk frother and mix for 10 seconds.

Step 10. Then start assembling the drink by spooning in Tapioca Pearls with brown simple syrup.

Add Iced cube into the cooled down black tea, leave a little bit room for cream.

Pour cream top of the glass and make its way down to the glass.

Mix cream in the drink properly and enjoy all components used in the drink with a straw.

  1. Black Tea- Is the most popular tea which is used with Bubble tea.

Make sure to take only fresh dairy milk to make Bubble tea/Boba Tea because condensed milk contains 45% of sweetness which makes your drink more sweetened.
